Famuyibo held a town hall meeting with members nad stakeholders of his party, where he revealed to them his plans to take Ekiti to greater heights if elected governor come June 18.

At the town hall meeting, a 1995 beneficiary of his scholarship scheme, where 1,571 indigenes of old Ondo State, comprising of present Ondo and Ekiti states, Mr. Olatunde Babatunde, came out to testify to Basorun Famuyibo’s concern for and interest in the development of Ekiti and indigenes.

Babatunde who told his people that he just stumbled on the meeting and was unaware that Basorun Famuyibo was around insisted that a vote for Famuyibo is a vote for prosperity, upliftment and freedom of Ekiti and her people from the shackles of slavery.

Leaders and stakeholders of the party in attendance include the chairmen of the AP in Ido wards 1 and 2, Messrs Sola Olofinmuwagun and Omotayo Ajayi, respectively.

Speaking at the town hall meeting, Basorun Famuyibo explained that he was in the race for governor because his people in Ekiti has suffered enough under successive administrations of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, adding that enough is enough of the suffering.

He said, “In the last 12 years, Ekiti and her people had been taken for granted and for a ride. We have had enough of the lies and shenanigans. Enough is enough.

“But if we say enough is enough, then we have to rise up in unison and do the needful, which is to go out on election day.

Going down memory lane to reveal his role in the creation of Ekiti State, BRF said that his dream for Ekiti State and her peopel is different from what is happening now, promising to ensure that the situation changes for the better under his administration.

In their various contribution at the parley, party leaders and stakeholders pledged their support for the realisation of Famuyibo’s ambition and plans to make Ekiti great again.
